A yet-to-be-contained oil spill in southwest Iran threatens the water supply of three towns and the internationally recognized Shadegan wetland.
A local official said an explosion that occurred three days ago at an oil well in Ramshir has caused a spill that is now close to reaching the Jarahi River.
